Diana Mariam Kurian, known professionally as Nayanthara, is an Indian actress and film producer who is known for her work in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare. Nayanthara was born as Diana Mariam Kurian in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to parents Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian who hail from Thiruvalla, Kerala. As her father was an Indian Air Force official, Nayanthara studied in various parts of India. Her elder brother, Leno, lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
