Shruti Haasan is an Indian actress and playback singer who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema. She is the daughter of actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika Thakur. She sang in films and did a guest role in her father's directorial Hey Ram. She has received nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer Tamil for singing "Kannazhaga Kaalazhaga" in 3 and "Yendi Yendi" in Puli. She got Best Music Director award for Unnaipol Oruvan at Edison Awards.
